Strategically working together

Why should we re-invent the wheel if others have done it before? We are convinced of the value and blessing of working in strategic partnerships, allowing us to achieve things we couldn’t do on our own and demonstrating God’s love by working together in unity.

English Centre

The English Centre is a ministry among university students in Dakar. It aims to be a welcoming and professional language learning centre where university students can progress in English oral communication. The staff’s desire is to invest in building genuine relationships with students through which they can share the gospel, to organise events where the biblical claims of Jesus can be explored and evaluated together and to support students in their journey of exploring the biblical claims of Jesus and what it means to be a genuine disciple of Jesus.

We currently have people joining the English Centre staff for one or two years at a time, but would love to have somebody for a longer commitment.

Wolof Bible translation

One of the keys for the gospel to reach the heart is for it to ‘speak’ the language of the people. That’s why the work of translating the Bible is such an essential ministry. We’re partnering with the Mission Baptiste du Senegal as they are working on getting the Old Testament translated into Wolof, the main trade language in Senegal. One of our workers is part of this translation team, proof reading the work.
