Why should we re-invent the wheel if others have done it before? We are convinced of the value and blessing of working in strategic partnerships, allowing us to achieve things we couldn’t do on our own and demonstrating God’s love by working together in unity.

AES (Alliance Evangélique du Sénégal)

The AES is a special partner of WEC Senegal because of the common history uniting us. We currently work together on several partnership projects in line with WEC Senegal’s vision of seeing communities of followers of Jesus in the Muslim people groups of Senegal.

HOH

It is a children’s ministry in Dakar. Help those children who have nobody else to help them – that’s what the HOH is doing.

They have three main activities:

• They run a school for girls who come from poor families who can’t afford school, giving them the only chance they have to get an education.
• Boys who have been living on the street are getting a place to live, education and professional training whilst living in a family atmosphere.
• Boys living on the streets are given a place to rest during the day, to be fed, cared for and loved, which is something many of them have never experienced.

English Learning Community

The members involved in this project teach English to university students. The teachers have the opportunity to build strong relationships with the students, and to share the Good News with them in a friendly atmosphere. The project recruits only native English speakers.
