Open doors

At the moment the doors are open for missionary work in Senegal, but we never know how long that will last. Pray that the mission community take advantage of these open doors and that the seeds that are planted during this time will grow into communities of believers.

Open hearts

Even with the ‘teranga’ attitude of the Senegalese people, they are reluctant to receive the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pray that God softens their hearts to receive His love and truth and that the people sharing do not get discouraged, but persevere.

Senegalese believers and churches

There is a revival amongst some of the Senegalese Church leaders to join the missionary effort in Senegal. Pray that this will spread to their church members as well as other church leaders and they all will see the need to share their faith with family, friends, neighbours and all the unreached people-groups in Senegal.

Theological training centres

There are few theological training centres in Senegal that tailor to training the Senegalese brothers and sisters in Christ for God’s work. Pray that those who run the centres that they will rely on God’s power and leading. Pray for Senegalese believers who feel the call to have the courage to make the commitment to get further training.

Current workers

Pray that our workers who faithfully live lives worthy of Christ be strengthen and encouraged each day.

New workers

The harvest is plenty and the workers are few. Pray for more people who are committed to making Christ known have the courage to step out of their comfort zone and come to Senegal to help us in God’s work!
